Filmmaker/Cinematographer

I am a passionate Filmmaker who has lived in Kiama since I was born, with a strong eye for Cinematography and Storytelling. I love creating films that make people feel something, more than just pretty visuals. I grew up surfing, fishing, diving and going on adventures, and this is where my filmmaking journey began, filming friends surfing and spearfishing.

What started as a hobby has grown into a full-time career over the past five years. I have worked across productions of all scales, from small content shoots to large international commercial projects. through my work with Optika Production Co, I have developed strong skills in shaping light and finding purposeful, considered angles that bring stories to life.

I have a passion for adventure and have strength in underwater cinematography, capturing the natural world in a way that feels immersive and real.

Underwater Cinematography

I have spent most of my life in the ocean, either diving, surfing, filming and swimming. I believe shooting in and around the water delivers one of the most beautiful and cinematic angles & scenes needed for any project around it. I have spent a lot of time around sharks, whales and large waves and am not afraid to do any of the underwater shooting that could be considered dangerous to most people.

Aerial Cinematography

I use drones to achieve the amazing aerial shots needed in most parts of filmmaking. Drones allow me to capture the world in another angle bringing stories to life. I have over 8 years experience flying drones and have flown in many remote and tricky areas and around many obstacles.
